I believe that relationships are a major force in our lives, positive and negative. That is why I pursued a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy that puts particular emphasis on relationship training.  Relationships are so rewarding, but can also be extremely hard work. My role is to help you see more clearly the patterns that exist in your relationship that prevent you from being the best you can be together. Do any of these statements sound familiar?

Have you recently discovered an affair? Do you feel like your relationship is in crisis? Do you want to get a jump-start on couples therapy? I find that there are times where traditional therapy is just not enough. The first hour of traditional couples therapy is dedicated to telling your story, and there  is unlikely to be time left for much more. It can be 2 to 3 weeks before you can fit another appointment into your schedule. At this rate, it can take up to two months, sometimes longer, before you really get in to the heart of the matter. If you feel like your relationship needs a more immediate intervention, this 3-hour crisis-intervention session might be for you. This is a one-time in depth evaluation, designed for new clients who are just beginning the process of couples therapy. This 3-hour session will include the following;

• Initial assessment of relationship concerns

• Gathering of family history and background information

• Brief individual meeting with therapist for each partner

• Identification of negative interaction cycle and core emotions that perpetuate negative feelings in the relationship

• Identify goals and immediately begin work to repair emotional attachment

• Action items for each partner

This 3-hour crisis-intervention will NOT be covered by insurance. This will be done on a self-pay basis only. You can look at the cost HERE. Following this in-depth evaluation, you may transition to traditional therapy and utilize your insurance coverage if desired. The 3- hour crisis-intervention will be scheduled by special appointment only. Please CALL or EMAIL me to  set up a time. These appointments will take place on a week day, either in the morning hours or afternoon hours so please be prepared to set aside  at least half a day for the experience. You will likely leave emotionally exhausted and might want to consider taking the entire day off. There are a limited number of these time slots available. Due to the nature of needing to reserve a large slot of time for these appointments, a $100.00 deposit by credit card is due at the time of scheduling. ​There will also be an additional $100.00 fee if you do not attend and do not inform me of your desire to cancel at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
